Why direct APK?

Fisc reads your bank SMS notifications locally to auto-categorize spending. Google Play Store requires lengthy review for SMS-access apps. We're in the review process — until then, you can install directly via APK.

Installation Guide

1Download & open the APK

Tap the download button above. Once downloaded, tap the APK file from your notification bar or file manager.

If prompted with "Install from unknown sources", tap Settings → Allow for your browser (Chrome/etc). This is a standard Android permission for any app installed outside the Play Store.

2Turn off Google Play Protect (temporarily)

Google Play Protect may block the installation because the app isn't on the Play Store yet. Here's how to allow it:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
  3. Tap Play Protect
  4. Tap the ⚙️ Settings gear (top right)
  5. Toggle OFF "Scan apps with Play Protect"
  6. Install Fisc
  7. Turn Play Protect back ON ✅
⚠️ Remember to turn Play Protect back on after installation. It only needs to be off during the install.
3Grant SMS permission

When you first open Fisc, it will ask for permission to read your SMS messages. Tap Allow.

This is how Fisc auto-detects your UPI payments — it reads bank notification SMS (like "Rs. 120 debited from A/C") and categorizes them automatically. No messages are uploaded anywhere.

4Set your budget & you're done!

Complete the quick onboarding — tell Fisc if you're a hosteler or day scholar, pick your spending categories, and set your monthly budget.

Fisc will immediately scan your recent bank SMS and show you where your money's going. Zero manual logging. Ever.
